Let us take you on a journey down memory lane as we share the incredible story of Raunchy Rusty, a true Stoke "Queen" and a legend in her own right.
It all began in Hanley, where a small fun pub called "The Continental Music Bar" captured the hearts of locals. This was the place to be, where you could truly let your hair down and enjoy a night of unforgettable entertainment. At the heart of it all were two incredible drag queens who stole the show with their bar performances.
Enter our very own Raunchy Rusty, who started as a glass collector but was passionate about the songs and performances that filled the bar. Recognising her talent and love for the art, Rusty was given the opportunity to fill in when one of the queens had an unfortunate accident. And thus, a star was born.
The response to Rusty's performance was nothing short of spectacular, leading to a permanent position as a drag queen. Over the years, Rusty became an integral part of the local drag scene, even taking over the venue when it transformed into "Mystiques" for many successful years.
Most recently, Rusty has been touring across the UK with our winter promoter, Liam Glendinning, spreading joy and laughter wherever she goes.
Drag is an ever-evolving art form, and Rusty has witnessed the ups and downs, the triumphs and failures. With 34 years of experience under her belt, she continues to captivate audiences and prove that there's still plenty of life in the old dog yet!
Introducing Joshua James Stansfield as Lucy Licious!
We are thrilled to share the incredible journey of Miss Lucy Licious; a comedy drag queen who has been making audiences laugh for 16 fabulous years!
It all began in a small bar in Darlington, where the weekly LGBTQ+ night called 'Gaylicious' provided a platform for Lucy to shine. With a 15-minute cabaret spot and some DJing, Lucy quickly became a beloved part of the vibrant LGBTQ+ community. From that moment on, her star continued to rise.
Lucy's talent and unique sense of humour propelled her to perform in various international destinations, including Turkey, Ibiza, Gran Canaria, and Prague. Her infectious laughter and captivating performances have left audiences in stitches worldwide.
For Lucy, comedy is not just a job—it's a passion that fuels her performances and brings joy to countless hearts. Making people laugh is what she lives for, and her dedication to the art of comedy drag shines through in every act.

Introducing Jason Jones, aka JJ!
We are thrilled to share the incredible journey of JJ, a talented performer who has graced stages across the globe with his passion for dance and music. From Newcastle Upon Tyne to international musicals and beyond, JJ's story is nothing short of inspiring.
Like a true Billy Elliot, JJ's love for dance sparked at a young age. Starting his studies in Newcastle, he later moved to London's prestigious Arts Educational School, where he embarked on the Musical Theatre course. His dedication and talent shone through as he was awarded the Lloyd Webber scholarship, paving the way for his final two years of study.
Upon leaving college, JJ's journey took him to Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, where he performed in numerous musicals, including "Starlight Express," "Beauty and the Beast," "West Side Story," "Miss Saigon," and "Tommy," among others. His versatility and passion for music led him to explore singing, backing bands, and eventually taking the stage as a lead vocalist.
With a thirst for adventure and performance, JJ has spent half his life living abroad, exploring countries like Spain, Brazil, Greece, and Turkey and performing on cruise ships.
Beyond performing, JJ has also made significant contributions as a director, choreographer, and teacher. His expertise and passion led him to write a degree course for the performing arts school at Newcastle College, leaving a lasting impact on future talents.
Now, JJ finds joy in working with the incredible team at DEJAVU in Turkey, where he continues to bring his talent and enthusiasm to the stage. The UK tour in 2023 has been a resounding success. Let's see what the future holds for this remarkable performer!
